Our objective is to establish a strong growth and development culture so all kids can succeed in their football journey.

Impacts of these behaviours include: 

 

Negative emotions: anxiety/stress, inhibiting growth and lack of creativity shown by players, loss of motivation/enjoyment and sense of community, unwillingness to support improvements in club soccer.

 

Behaviours and actions that oppose and inhibit the establishment of a strong growth and development culture will NOT be tolerated and you may be given formal warning, asked to leave, or even suspended from OCJFC grounds.

Creating Opportunities for All

Our foremost priority is to provide every boy and girl with the opportunity to participate in football. We believe in breaking down barriers—be they physical, financial, cultural, or social—to ensure that each child is welcomed onto the pitch. Our outreach initiatives, community engagement efforts, and scholarship programs are designed to reach children from all backgrounds, ensuring that talent and enthusiasm, rather than circumstance, open the door to participation.

  • Inclusivity: We actively seek to remove obstacles to entry, providing equipment, transportation, and fee assistance wherever possible.

  • Outreach: Through partnerships with schools, community centers, and local organizations, we strive to introduce football to those who might otherwise not have the chance to play.

  • Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: Our codes of conduct strictly prohibit any form of discrimination or harassment. All children and families are treated with dignity and fairness.

  • Safety Protocols: Regular facility inspections, emergency procedures, and injury prevention protocols are in place to protect every participant.

Quality coaching is a cornerstone of youth development in sports. We are dedicated to providing a secure structure with highly trained, passionate, and empathetic coaching staff. We believe in the importance of recognising and awarding the efforts and achievements of individuals and their teams. Achievement comes in many forms—personal improvement, teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and leadership. Our awards and recognition programs are designed to celebrate both the big wins and the quiet victories that shape character.

  • Individual Awards: Recognition is given for personal progress, effort, and positive attitude, not just for goals scored or games won.

  • Team Accomplishments: Teams are celebrated for collaboration, resilience, and mutual support, reinforcing the value of working together towards common goals.
